The Maples Home for
Seniors is centrally located in the quiet town of Tavistock and would
be considered a small Nursing/Retirement home in a rural setting.
This is just one of the many reasons that the residents like the location,
as you have easy access to all the services and entertainment without

owned Nursing Home with a Retirement Home attached which makes it easier
for the transition to a higher level of care if the need arises.
As with many small towns there is no shortage of Volunteers with a lot
of activities geared to seniors.

Tavistock has very good
medical coverage from local Physicians, and it's own Dental Clinic.
The Maples is also know for their caring attitude towards residents, family,
and visitors alike. Being well respected in the community is a good reason
why most of the staff have worked at the facility for many years.
As resident and families will tell you the Maples is well known for their
home cooked meals with a country touch.

Along with our 24 hour
Registered Nursing staff who will comfort you when you are in need, we
have an activity staff which will invite you and encourage you to participate
in every program that is available at the facility. There are regular church
services for many denominations available throughout the week.
