Get away from the hustle

Care Courtland's beautiful grounds. Surrounded by both ornamental
and fruit trees, the Nursing Home provides a serene atmosphere amidst it’s
22.5 acres of rolling meadows. The Nursing Home is located right
on County Road 59, south of Hwy. 3 so stop by for a tour on your way to
the lake or as you pass by on your way into town for groceries. As you
approach our Home the view of the grounds will astound you. Admire
the small lagoon edged with Snowball trees as you drive up our winding
path to our Home.

Caressant Care Courtland
is a single story Home with 34 bedrooms including private, semi-private
and ward. Enjoy community-based entertainment programs, bingo's and
community-sponsored birthday parties in our large hard-wood floor auditorium.
Participate in our annual Strawberry Social featuring live entertainment
in addition to a delicious “all you can eat” strawberry dessert.
Four of the private bedrooms have a view of inside courtyards while all
remaining rooms have large windows to the grounds. Take a stroll
with your family through our Memory Garden. This large patio area
includes a raised wood boardwalk that stretches across the back of our
building. It is completely enclosed and wheelchair accessible.
An automatic door will sense your presence and welcome you into the tranquil
Garden. Mature shade trees in open sections of the deck will provide
a canopy over you as you stroll along listening only to the sounds of the
rustling leaves and birds singing. Picnic with your family on the
deck or in our screened in gazebo.

Our library sits on
the north corner of the Home. Envision a study with bookshelves lining
one of the inside walls and windows almost as large as the two exterior
walls displaying a beautiful landscaped area and lagoon. It is from
this observatory that you can have the privacy of your own living room
to enjoy family movies using the VCR and television. If you're still
not satisfied, select an interesting magazine from our library and relax
in a lounge chair in our completely enclosed courtyard. You'll be
surrounded by small bushes, perennial and annual flowers under our awning.

A wall of screen doors
from the courtyard invite you into our chapel. Once inside, you will
view the artwork depicting Stations of the Cross and breathtaking stained
glass above the courtyard doors. We invite your Priest or Minister
to provide services for you and others. Our activity staff schedule
worship services as well as provide numerous programs for your enjoyment.

Keep cool in the air-conditioning
in our craft room and dining room. Admire the view of our grounds
as you enjoy your meals. Invite your family to bring home movies
and sit together to reminisce or watch cable television in our sitting
rooms.

Whichever area you enjoy
the most, know that our dedicated staff will care for you and cater to
your needs. Our 24 hour Registered Nursing staff will comfort you
when you are in need, and our activity staff will invite you and encourage
you to participate in every program. You will make new friends here,
rekindle some old ones and you will become a part of our small Family here
at Caressant Care Courtland.
