The Maples Retirement Home is located in the small, friendly village of Tavistock and is adjacent to our Nursing Home. Within walking distance to local businesses and services, The Maples offers a wide variety of activities for our residents. Designated parking spots are available for those who have a vehicle.

Our staff members prepare delicious meals in our kitchen located just off the Dining Room. All of our baked goods are fresh daily and we only use fresh, quality ingredients. Our beef roasts and sausage are purchased locally at Tavistock’s very own Krug’s Meat Market, well-known across the area for its quality.

Our goal at The Maples is to provide quality care and service, but most of all we want our residents to be happy. We strive for a home-like atmosphere and our trained staff go out of their way to ensure each resident feels like an important part of our family.

We offer various accommodations: semi-private, private or deluxe private. All of our suites are fully furnished but our residents are encouraged to bring a few of their favourite pieces of furniture from home. Each spacious room also has its own 3-piece bathroom. Our all-inclusive rates include rent, laundry, meals and housekeeping. We also provide a weekly bath if needed, daily bed making, medication administration, drug ordering and receiving.
