Our dedicated, caring staff will always welcome
you for a tour at our home at #4 Mary Bucke Street
in St. Thomas, Ontario. We pride ourselves in
being "the best kept secret in town".
Our small (60 bed), privately owned and operated
long term care facility is nestled in the beautiful
southeast corner of the city.
As you enter our spacious foyer you may view the
lounge and patio. Large picture windows can be
found in all areas of the home. Climate is individually
controlled in each room as all of the rooms in
our facility contain their own air conditioning
and heating units. Residents are encouraged to
decorate their own area with their own things
to give their area a personal touch.
Nursing care is provided 24 hours a day. Other
professional services include advisory physician,
pharmacist, dietitian, nurse consultants and physiotherapy.
We also have access to a number of other service
providers as required. Families are encouraged
to assist in planning care for their family member.
Enhancing care programs include activation, aromatherapy,
hand waxing, foot care and massage therapy. Spiritual
needs are met by the local faith community by
way of services monthly for all denominations
as well as visits from local clergy. Social programs
are varied and include exercise programs, crafts,
bingo, music, baking, shopping trips and discussion
groups.
Delicious meals are prepared daily in our very
own kitchen with each residents’ special
dietary needs being met. Dining rooms are tastefully
decorated and staff members are there to help
residents with all aspects of their dining as
needed. If you are looking for a homelike environment
in a small long term care facility, come and see
us for yourself! |
