Welcome to Caressant Care Fergus Nursing Home. We have been taking care of the physical, social and spiritual needs of our residents since 1986. We are active in the community and are constantly improving to better serve the people of Fergus and the surrounding area. Our 87 bed nursing home is located in the small town of Fergus, about 15 minutes North of Guelph off Highway 6. It’s only a 10-minute walk to the Fergus Market and downtown core.

Caressant Care provides 24-hour registered nursing care and while an attending physician is available, residents have the option of keeping their own doctor. Our Restorive Care Program promotes independence with bathing, eating, and other day to day activities. We also provide enjoyable activities on a daily basis and a calendar of what’s coming up is available.

Our residents enjoy 3 home-cooked meals daily and special food needs are addressed by a Registered Dietician. Healthy snacks are also provided.

Stone Road Mall Physiotherapy is proud to offer services to the resdients of Caressant Care. Our new residents are assessed by a Registered Physiotherapist and those who require treatment are provided with a plan that is carried out by qualified physiotherapy assistants. We also offer dental and footcare clinics for a fee, and our salon is open twice weekly with services avaialable at a reasonable cost.
