Welcome to Caressant
Care Listowel. We are situated in a quiet residential section on
the outskirts of Listowel. We are pleased to provide a smoke free
living environment. Residents who wish to smoke are allowed to do
so only in designated areas in the Nursing and Retirement Homes.

The facility is one
level with a variety of ward, semi-private and private rooms. There are
excellent grounds for strolling, with a walking trail behind the facility.
We have a gazebo in the back yard as well as in the fenced area of the
nursing home. Construction will soon begin on a walkway in the enclosed
garden area.

We offer a regular program
of scheduled activities. There are card parties, bingo, exercises,
baking, etc. Each Tuesday, alternating clergy come to lead the worship
services. Our annual family picnic is usually scheduled in August.
We invite our residents’ families to bring a picnic lunch to share with
the resident while we supply entertainment, drinks and desserts.
Our volunteers are an integral part of our Home, providing the residents
with hours of entertainment.

The Sunshine Van can
be booked for special outings. Our Activity department offers scheduled
outings to area department stores, community Seniors’ programs, special
community events, etc.
